Monday:
It's the fourth of July, and I had every intention of dressing the kids up in the American flag shirts Gigi and Papa got them and heading out to the neighborhood parade, but, last night was another rough night. We slept in and it was well past parade time by the time we got done with breakfast.
Phillip turned on the radio in the living room and both the kids loved it. They both stood over by it in amazement. Almost like they were thinking, "Wow! That's what this thing does!" Then, I put Annabelle on Liam's car, and then asked Liam if he wanted to get on there with her. He did, and it was the cutest thing. Annabelle would tip her head up and look behind her at Liam and just smile away! It was the most darling thing.
We are making it a point today to do more solids. For dinner, we were having peas, salad and Parmesan meatballs with Pesto sauce. Phillip and I loved it, and turns out, so did Annabelle. It was after she ate a dab of Pesto that I remembered there were nuts in it, I had a quit Mom freak out about a potential allergic reaction, but she was fine.
