Friday:

In the morning, I went to brunch with Marlene, and Phillip was nice enough to continue the potty training endeavor while I was gone. There wasn't much luck there either. Towards the middle of the day, we noticed the rash on her hiney was getting worse and worse. Once it started weeping, I decided to call the pediatrician. We are going in next week for well checks and after google-ing pictures of diaper rashes (which should have view discretion warnings) we determined it's yeast. SIGH. The hardest to get rid of. We are giving her apple cider vinegar baths and putting yogurt and coconut oil on it, and we've temporarily switched to disposable diapers while we get the fungi out of the cloth diapers and her hiney heals.

To get it out of the diapers, the best bet we've found is to wash all of them on cold with tea tree oil, then on hot with oxygen cleaner, then hang dry in the sun. So I did. All 27 diapers (we started with 36, that should give you an idea of how bad the poops were), 4 covers, and 3 inserts.

I hope this ends soon for her sake.
