Annabelle loves to follow Liam around the house. She will go in the hallway and Liam knows she's not to go in any of the rooms herself, so he's usually pretty prompt to shut all the doors to keep her contained. Every now and then, she goes into the bathroom, and he and she stand or kneel by the tub and bang on it. It makes a fun, loud, echoing sound, which they both love. Annabelle is standing up a lot, so this is just another place she gets to practice that.
I think the standing up is a milestone that is causing some frustration for her. At night, it usually takes forever for her to drink her bottle, and that's if we actually get to drink it, and when we do, it's never more than five or six ounces. But, we'll give up, put her in bed, and then later walk in and she's unswaddled herself, and standing up in her crib smiling at us. It's pretty cute, but kinda frustrating with the feeding stuff.
As far as a potty update, I put her on after she drank her milk in the morning and she didn't pee. I left her diaperless, with a close eye on her for a bit, and still didn't pee. Then, we moved to the living room, with her off the pot, and she crawled over to it and started scooting and patting it. I decided it'd be a good idea when she does this to let her know that that is what she can do to signal me she needs to pee, so I put her on. Then, she peed! Whoa! Okay...now I'm starting to get excited about this potty training stuff.
As it is laundry day, and Annabelle is now awake when we are out hanging clothes, I had to figure out how to take her with me, without her being on the ground, so I figured out how to wrap her on my back. Something I could never figure out with Liam, I'm glad I can do it with her. Liam, our household photographer, was kinda enough to snap this picture of us.
