Monday:
Today, Annabelle has done great on the potty! While she did wake up wet this morning, she was wet, and I did put her on the potty for a bit, which she didn't pee, so I went on with the day and gave her a bottle. Twenty to thirty minutes after that I put her on the potty with no pee, but after about an hour from her bottle, I put her back on and she peed right away! YAY! I was super happy. Then she took her morning nap, woke wet and poopy, still put her on potty with no more action, and went on to give her her milk. She only drank half the bottle, to which I thought I'd have trouble getting her to potty in the next thirty minutes, but I put her on about then, and she went almost right after i put her on it! We headed out to run a few errands, and I took her bottle with me for her to finish. We were out about an hour, and as soon as we got home, I checked her diaper and she was dry, so I put her on the pot. This time it was immediately that she peed! I was so proud! Perfect time to nap now! Full belly and empty bladder.
From there, there wasn't much luck. One accident after she woke up. She stopped playing and locked eyes with me and I just knew she was peeing. Sure enough I had a mess to clean. Then when Phillip and I were cooking dinner and she and Liam were playing, without us helicoptering her, and she peed and thought the texture and temperature of her mess on the tile was quite interesting. Liam came running over, "Mommy, will you put Anbel on potty?!" Ewww. We got her cleaned up promptly and told her that pee goes in the potty.
I did today start keeping a journal about when I feed her and when she potties so I can get a better idea on her schedule. I'm thinking it may be worth setting a timer as well.
